Read the latest →According to a Financial Times report covered by Axios, Starbucks has talked with advisers in recent months about a possible takeover of Chipotle, the chain its CEO Brian Niccol used to run. Axios said it is not clear whether Starbucks has made an offer, and that a deal would be the biggest in restaurant-industry history by far, with Chipotle worth more than $41 billion.
