Ringmetall acquires Rapak from TriMas
Industrial packaging specialist Ringmetall bought Rapak, a Woodridge, Illinois-based producer of bag-in-box packaging and filling systems for liquid food, beverage and industrial uses, from TriMas. TriMas said the sale streamlines its portfolio. Terms were not disclosed.
Why it matters: Ringmetall enters North America's bag-in-box market and becomes the fourth-largest such maker worldwide.
