Salesforce agrees to buy Braze for $5.66B in cash
Salesforce will acquire marketing software provider Braze for $5.66 billion in cash, or $47.50 per share, about 58% above Braze's last closing price. Braze's revenue grew 26% year-over-year last quarter to $227.2 million, while its adjusted operating income nearly quadrupled. Its platform aggregates customer data and uses built-in AI to create personalized campaigns across channels.
Why it matters: The steep premium signals how much Salesforce values AI-driven, data-centric marketing tools as it deepens its customer engagement stack.
