TransDigm closes $1.07B cash buy of Prince & Izant
TransDigm completed its roughly $1.066 billion all-cash acquisition of Prince & Izant, a Cleveland-based maker of engineered brazing alloys and specialty metal components, from Industrial Growth Partners. The price includes certain tax benefits and was funded with cash on hand. P&I is expected to generate about $390 million of revenue in calendar 2026, mostly aftermarket, across nearly 10,000 active SKUs.
Why it matters: TransDigm continues its playbook of buying proprietary, aftermarket-heavy aerospace suppliers with cash from its balance sheet.
