Azra AI acquires imaging AI firm Blackford Analysis

Nashville-based Azra AI, which tracks patients from early suspicion of disease through care, acquired Blackford Analysis, an enterprise AI orchestration company for medical imaging. Sopris Capital, Azra's majority owner, had acquired Blackford from Bayer earlier in October. Terms were not disclosed.

Why it matters: The deal gives health systems one platform from imaging findings through completed care.
