Empresas Polar acquires nacho pioneer Ricos Products
Family-owned Venezuelan food company Empresas Polar, through subsidiary Alimentos Polar International, acquired Ricos Products, a fifth-generation San Antonio supplier of nacho cheese sauce, chips and popcorn to retailers and concession stands. Ricos keeps its management and headquarters. Terms were not disclosed.
