Galderma to buy ZO Skin Health from Blackstone and the Obagi family
Swiss dermatology group Galderma signed an agreement to acquire ZO Skin Health, an Irvine, California-based physician-dispensed skincare brand. The sellers include funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and the Obagi family. The brand was founded by dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Why it matters: The deal deepens Galderma's presence in the premium, clinic-sold skincare channel in the U.S.
