Salesforce signs deal for AI research startup Listen Labs, reported at $2B
Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Listen Labs, which builds AI agents that recruit, interview and simulate customers using digital twins. Neither side disclosed terms, though Business Insider reported a price around $2 billion. Closing is expected in Salesforce's fiscal Q4 2027 pending regulatory clearance, and the founders will join Salesforce AI Labs.
Why it matters: It is Salesforce's second large AI tuck-in of the year after the roughly $3.6 billion Fin deal, deepening its agent push in Marketing and Service Cloud.
