Vale Base Metals completes Thompson Mine sale to Exiro-led group
Vale Base Metals completed a transaction making Exiro Nickel Company the owner and operator of the Thompson Mine Complex in Manitoba, Canada. Exiro Minerals, Orion Resource Partners and Canada Growth Fund hold 81.1%, while Vale retains 18.9% and a multi-year nickel concentrate offtake. The deal includes a commitment to invest up to US$200 million in Thompson.
