Volaris Group adds Brazilian foodservice software maker Teknisa

Volaris Group, the Constellation Software subsidiary, has acquired Teknisa, a 36-year-old Brazilian provider of management software for corporate foodservice and food retail. Founded in Belo Horizonte in 1990, Teknisa serves more than 900 companies with over 450 employees, offering ERP, financial, HCM and kitchen-to-delivery modules. Terms were not disclosed. Co-founder George Lima framed the deal as a new cycle of sustainable growth.

Why it matters: Volaris continues its serial roll-up of niche vertical software, this time deepening its Latin American footprint.
