AIT Worldwide Logistics buys Sydney forwarder Connor Anderson
AIT Worldwide Logistics of Itasca, Illinois agreed to acquire Connor Anderson International, a Sydney-based global freight forwarder founded in 1974 offering ocean, air and road transport, customs, warehousing and project cargo services. AIT plans to strengthen services for technology shippers in Australia and Oceania. Terms were not disclosed.
Why it matters: The deal gives AIT its first foothold in Oceania, targeting tech-sector shippers.
