NextEra says Dominion Energy merger on track for 2H 2027
NextEra Energy officials said on the company's third-quarter earnings call that its planned merger with Dominion Energy remains on track to close in the second half of 2027. CEO John Ketchum said he was looking forward to defending the deal in Virginia, where it has run into political opposition.
