Houston-based Third Coast Bancshares agreed to acquire Great Plains National Bank's parent in a $240 million all-stock deal. Great Plains has $1.9 billion in assets, $1.7 billion in deposits and 23 branches across Oklahoma and Texas, and will operate as a division of Third Coast Bank.

Viatris agreed to acquire Pacira BioSciences for $36.50 per share in cash, an aggregate equity value of $1.65 billion. Pacira sells the non-opioid pain drugs EXPAREL and ZILRETTA and generated about $746 million in revenue and $177 million in adjusted EBITDA over the last twelve months.
