Rockwell Medical buys most of Vantive's hemodialysis business

Rockwell Medical has agreed to acquire the majority of Vantive's hemodialysis assets and operations, including HD concentrates, HD machines, water treatment systems, consumables and technical services. Financial terms were not disclosed. Rockwell calls the deal a transformational global acquisition.

Why it matters: Vantive sharpens its focus on home dialysis and critical care, while Rockwell gains a global in-center dialysis platform.
