Wittington and Fairfax-backed buyer agrees to acquire Boots

Oak UK Bidco, owned by funds managed or advised by Wittington Investments together with Fairfax Financial Holdings, signed a share purchase agreement on October 7, 2026 to acquire all shares of Blazing Star Boots Superco from The Boots Group Limited. The disclosure came as Boots' financing entities launched a consent solicitation on their senior secured notes tied to the acquisition.
